1. Are Zihmanis Creations wooden spotlights handmade?
Yes. Every wooden ceiling spotlight is carefully handcrafted in Latvia using premium solid hardwood. At Zihmanis Creations, we focus on precision woodworking, minimalist design, and high-quality natural materials to create durable and elegant wooden lighting fixtures.
2. What wood is used in your solid wood spotlights?
We use premium solid hardwood for our wooden spotlights, including American Walnut, Oak, Ash, Zebrano, Venge, Padauk and other selected exotic woods depending on the model. Each solid wood spotlight has unique grain patterns, which means no two lamps are identical.
3. What bulbs are compatible with your wooden spotlights?
Our wooden ceiling spotlights are designed for GU10 LED bulbs. We recommend 2700K (warm white) for cozy interiors and 3000K for modern neutral lighting. GU10 LED bulbs are energy efficient, long-lasting, and widely available worldwide.
4. Do you ship Zihmanis Creations wood spotlights internationally?
Yes. We ship our handmade wooden spotlights worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on the destination country. Please note that customs duties and import taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer.
5. How long does production take for handmade wooden spotlights?
If the wooden spotlight is in stock, it ships within 1–3 business days. Made-to-order wooden ceiling lights typically require 5–10 business days for production.
6. Can I order a custom wooden ceiling spotlight?
Yes. We offer custom wooden lighting solutions upon request. Custom wood type, dimensions, finish, or configuration may be possible depending on the project. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
7. How do I install a wooden ceiling spotlight?
Installation is similar to standard recessed ceiling spotlights. A five step installation guide is provided in the product description. For safety and compliance with local electrical regulations, installation by a certified electrician is recommended
8. Are your wooden spotlights energy efficient?
Yes. When paired with high-quality GU10 LED bulbs, our wooden ceiling lights are energy efficient, consume minimal electricity, and generate low heat output.
9. What finish do you use on your solid wood spotlights?
We use high-quality hard wax oil that enhances natural wood texture, protects against moisture, and preserves the authentic appearance of solid wood lighting.
10. What is your return policy?
Customers may return unused products within 14 days of delivery in accordance with EU consumer rights. Custom-made wooden lighting products may not be eligible for return.
11. Can wooden ceiling spotlights be installed in bathrooms?
Our wooden spotlights can be installed in bathrooms if placed outside direct water zones and installed according to IP safety regulations. Always consult a certified electrician before installing lighting fixtures in humid environments.
